Forkdle respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when using Forkdle.

Information We Collect

Account information: email address, username, and authentication credentials managed by Supabase Auth. Forkdle never sees or stores your raw password.

Gameplay information: daily puzzles played, guesses submitted, outcomes, streaks, statistics, leaderboard performance, and public leaderboard rankings.

User submissions: recipes, dish suggestions, correction reports, and feedback.

Notification information: if you enable notifications, we store a device push token so we can send optional daily puzzle reminders.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect precise location data, advertising identifiers, payment information, contacts, photos, or device files.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Analytics & Error Monitoring

Forkdle uses Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and Sentry to understand usage patterns, improve performance, and diagnose technical issues.

These services may collect technical information such as browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, performance metrics, and error logs needed to investigate bugs.

How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate users, maintain accounts, track gameplay statistics and streaks, operate leaderboards, process submissions and feedback, send optional notifications, improve content accuracy, monitor reliability and security, and detect abuse.

Data Storage

Forkdle uses Supabase for authentication and database services. Information may be stored on infrastructure operated by Supabase and its service providers.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Forkdle and comply with legal obligations.

Submitted recipes, suggestions, corrections, feedback, and leaderboard records may remain in our systems until removed by us or upon account deletion where applicable.

Your Rights

You may access your information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, and request a copy of your information.

You may disable notifications at any time through your device settings. To request account deletion, contact us using the email listed below.

Children's Privacy

Forkdle is not directed toward children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
